welcome to the club...i've gone thru 4 of em...just put in a nice built unit from jakes performance w/ a t brake and 3 dirc billet circle d verter.

I had similar pieces of metal come out of my broken Precision Ind converter. Are you going to ship it to Yank to see if they can fix it? or put it up for sale as is?

I'm probably going to buy a converter from Circle-D, probably a 2B triple disc. After all is said and done I'll send this one back to yank to be fixed/refreshed and maybe put it up for sale. Chris said it was a bearing failure from seeing the pictures. What ended up being the problem with your PI converter?

and what ended up being the problem with #1 for me....yank rebuilt the converter under warranty thou.dave ask me what i did to his converter...

yep...1st one was yank failure,2nd was built and didnt last 2 months as well as the third and then another used unit that soon didnt have 2nd gear. but guess what. jakes has lasted this long( 2 months) so far...lol

I am on my third as well. First one was taken out by an edge converter, second was mysterious and now I'm on a locally "built" one by a good buddy. Seems to be working fine but can't wait to get rid of my yank for another circle-d or PI.
