Was that the one in the classifieds a while back? I almost bought it, but decided to just put the money toward the 80e swap that I don't want to do,

Yep, that's the one I got. I am going to try and stay away from the 80e until later next year.

Guarantee of 800 hp in a car is different than moving a heavy truck, These trucks with serious HP need a level 5 design especially the way you like to drive it

Performabuilt's level 3 is considered the same thing as a level 5 from other companies. Same components just a different number.

I would like to once again make clear this transmission did not fail for any power related cause, It failed due to a faulty molded piston allowing fluid to leak n the forward clutch eventually resulting in the failure of the forward clutch friction, The rest of the transmission was perfect , No signs of shafts twisting broken parts or slipping clutches .everything else was cherry in the unit.

are the 65e/70e transmissions a direct bolt in for a truck that has the 60e stock?
