Cool Brake upgrade

Well I have an 03 Silverado SS and the stock brakes GM decided to leave on it are crap. I'ts a pain in the *** trying to slow down the truck with or without pulling my trailer. It's time for some new ones. What is a good aftermarket replacement brake package that's a good bang for my buck?

I've researched SSBC and liked what I saw but I want more options. What do ya think?

zo6 calipers with 14" rotors and stainless steel lines

a guy on gmfullsize used to make caliper brackets to make it work, pretty sure he still does.

Baer brakes makes a decent alumasport kit that is well worth the money. I'd go as big as you can afford.

I've heard that Powerslot rotors and Hawk brake pads will make a world of difference. Maybe not as good as Baer or SSBC, but one heckuva lot cheaper, with a major improvement(so I've been told).

I'll be doing this to my truck sometime this summer. I'll post up my opinion after that.

I like the looks of the SSBC's...I'd like to get the 14" set in the far distant future

Ive got EBC dimpled rotors and EBC Green Pads (SUV Heavy Duty), Russell SS Braided lines all the way around, and Hydroboost Swap..

If you do anything, id suggest Hydroboost first. its hard to explain, but its awesome how much it helps!!

My Vacuum brakes sucked bad, towing a mustang home from the track i almost ran a red light cause i had all my weight on the brake pedal trying to break it off, Soon after that i went with a new Vac booster and MC,, it didnt help too much..
Then EBC rotors and pads on the front, then SS lines, then the best one of them all... Hydroboost
