upgrade from rubber brake lines to some hardened lines IMO

Are there any special instructions to bleeding the abs computer, or should I have the truck on while bleeding the brakes? Any word on the location and a part # for the modulation valve? What would the troubleshooting procedure be for this part? Thanks guys.
