Default Blew up my torque converter....

Any suggestions on who I should go with? I was checking out the Yank Truck thruster with that 2600 stall looks like a winner but 900 bucks hot damn. Whatchu guys think for a 4L80?

From all the research Ive done the past few weeks, any 80e converter is expensive unfortunally. Yank is a very good company though.

Call Dave at Yank. Tell him about your setup, and your expectations. He'll make a recommendation for you, and then go from there. 775-826-9955 You won't be disappointed.

I am curious what you were running and how it broke? And what are you looking for in a converter?

Yea its just a stock verter from an old 80e i pulled about 2 years ago. I actually wasnt doing much I run N/A right now. It went out after a couple WOT dig runs with my buddy's cobalt SS. It started to stay locked in 1st gear lol, so i cant really say that its completely shot, it just doesnt want to let go when i come to a stop and the truck wants to stall out. Then the IAC kicks in along with a timing bump and it saves the stall, but its still locked until i hit about 1800RPM then it will finally release. Ill check out yank though, I'll need a good verter anyway once i pop the turbo on.
