Default Which Bilsteins - Comfort or HD

I am kinda tired of the rough ride and was looking at upgrading my suspension a little bit... From what I have read the HD seems to work better with bigger/heavier wheels. Since I have stockers I was thinking about the comfort series....

Here is what summit says about the two...

HD
For most vehicles, including full size sedans, SUVs, and trucks, these Bilstein heavy-duty shocks provide improved handling and stability without sacrificing ride comfort. They offer super damping ability that makes them ideal for occasional off-road heavy hauling use, while maintaining an exceptional street ride.

Comfort
These Bilstein Comfort shocks are designed for the driver who wants to maximum ride comfort and virtually eliminate bottoming out and vehicle sway. These shocks generally maintain and, in many cases, enhance a vehicle's original ride qualities, while increasing road-handling and overall stability.

I would go with the HDs. I had a set on anthother truck, the compression is not overkill but there is a lot of rebound damping. They don't do great on washboard but open highway or high speed is great.

I was paying attention to the laptop and not the ride quality... Maybe next time you come out I will remember...

The ride was not harsh. They felt nice and tight and still comfortable. The rebound will get you braking into rough corners or accelerating out of them. Traction is worse in those situations.

I have the HD's and the ride is great, not harsh but very responsive. They are a night and day difference over the original Z71 shocks that the truck came with.
