Default Best Recommended Automatic Tranny Fluid and Why???

Curious as to what brand (Royal Purple, B&M, Valvoline, Castrol, etc) and type (Dex III or VI, etc) auto tranny fluid most are using and why? Wanting to know for next tranny fluid change. Thanx and GOD Bless, Rob.

I use valvoline dex 6 with the red lubegard additive. Its the GM recommended fluid and the lubegard provides a little added protection against heat. Thats assuming you're talking specifically about GM, things change with other manufacturers.

I'm about to put Royal Purple in my new built 60e per recommendation of the builder. He said anything would work but the R.P. would hold up against the heat of my 4k stall best.

4l60e- cheap stuff , it will break sooner than it needs a flush , so why spend on the good stuff.

4l80- i still use cheap stuff and change it more often if need be.
