Tru trac IMO. No clutch packs to wear out in it, like the eaton, however the eaton is not a junk unit.. BTW both are made by eaton...

Sounds good so far, my pbuilt lvl2 has held up great, I am putting a good bit of power through it.. Keep the stock drive shaft Na but seriously a ton of guys are running the stock shaft with out issue.. I can't say about that drive shaft company, never had or heard of them..

After grenadine the stock unit i went with an Auburn, which lasted a little while, but felt sluggish. Then once it blew up i got a Detroit true track, and its been perfect ever sense. So i would say true track is the way to go

Dynotech engineering

http://www.dynotechengineering.com/ has built several for me. 1 800 633 5559

great service and a good product. I blew up a shaft I had built local here on the dyno, and that just sucked. Jay

The auburn unit is ok for a mild truck. It won't hold up to alot of power and sticky slicks. But the good thing is they have a rebuild program, they send you a new one for $100 bucks if it's under 4 years old.
