Question Belltech 3/5-4/6 Installation

Getting ready to install my Belltech kit. It's a 3/5-4/6 kit. Running spindles and adjustable shocks up front and a rear flip kit with adjustable hangers out back.

Curious if anyone here has this setup. My kit includes 6* shims and transmission spacers. It's a NNBS Extcab 4x4 truck. Curious if shims AND spacers are needed, or one or the other.

I plan on going with the 3/5 setting first, I doubt I'll wanna go any lower. I'm just trying to achieve a sporty stance, nothing slammed.

I haven't found much info on the actual installation anywhere, so if anyone has any tricks/hints that'd be great.

I'll try to take pictures of the installation if possible.

Thanks.

Tons of tricks...

Take the e brake cable loose from the middle of the driver frame rail. Take loose brake line bracket
Drop passenger leaf pack completely
Pull rear bolt out of driver leaf pack let hang
Pull rear end to the passenger side and put back on top of the driver leaf pack.
Air hammer, cut off wheel for factory shackle bracket

Id take measurements of the rearend pinion angle then go with shims or the trans spacer

I'm guessing dropping the passenger side completely will keep you from having to drop the tank to drop the driver leaf pack?

I plan on getting a angle finder and a new air hammer later today. Hopefully I have a grinder somewhere for removing the factory bump stop brace.

Not familiar with "tiger pad"... I planned on using the sawzall for the upper control arm ball joints.

Flap Discs Ceramic Tiger Shark :: 111 Abrasives Australia Pty. Ltd. t/a Mullner Enterprises

I have like 20 of these things, they are way better than a grinding disc bc it will smooth out whatever you are working on vs taking chunks out of the metal.

Sawzal the bulk of the bump stop off, take a cut off wheel and cut the rest of the welds off and come back with the tiger pad for a smooth look like nothing was ever there an paint it

I don't think I have an angle grinder, I'm pretty sure the one I have is dead. Sounds shitty, but I planned on doing the best I could with cutoff wheel on a die grinder.

I think I'm missing the set of shims that is supposed to be included with my kit, I only have the transmission spacers here...

Took some measurements and looked at the construction of the frame right in that area. I'm going to slice the existing bump stop bracket so it can be folded once over on itself and mount my factory bumpstop into that. It'll help distribute the load alot better for when I do bottom this thing out.

Got the front finished up. Have some issues...

Beginning Measurement from ground to fender, had a +2 leveling spacer, was 38.250"...
After Measurement with -2 spindle, -1 strut, spacers removed, is 34.875"...

I should have dropped 5+ inches. I only lost 3.375".

The struts are belltech lowering/lifting, with the 10mm ring and two 8mm rings, exactly what is called for on a 1 inch drop.

Spindles are belltech -2" drop spindles.

I don't see what the issue is.
