What kind of stresses are you seeing on the rod ends? At what load?

Once all this mess of manufacturing is done I will start working on interchangability. Should be a piece of cake once the basic design in done.

Are you talking about FEA (finite element analysis)? If you can send me some CAD models of it, I can do some analysis pretty damned quick. I already have a good idea of the loads it'll see. What's the distance between the axle centerline and the rear/bottom rod end mount?

Man I tell you what, thats a touch over my head. I don't have any analiptic program experience. My man on the task is schooled in enginering so we should have an applicalbe analysis.

The prototypes arent in my hands right now but I would estimate the leverage arm to be around 5.5"

Alright guys, sorry for such long delay, but I have some good news!

We have the bracketry made and in the shop. Right now we are inthe process of arranging for final copies and for our test truck to come down so we can outfit it with the bars and do the final testing!

Check some pics to whet your appetites:

More updates will be coming as we get them here! Thanks again for the patience!

Damn, a lot more to it than I had imagined... what kind of price range you shooting for? Weld on to the axle tube, or the bottom of the spring plate?

Yea the pics up top show the brackets assembled as well as apart. So it's actually double the parts.

Take a look at this. Basically it's going to be welded to a GM spring plate, assembled and powdercoated as one piece.

We're not setting a price yet until everything is said and done and we sign up as a vendor on the site.
