Default bad luck strikes again... :bang:

Scenario is 2000 Ext Cab z-71 GMC, for some reason rear end locked up, twisted the axles, broke the diffrential into chunks (seriously) and in the process fubared my tranny.

Question is, is a 4L60E out of a f-body applicable to a 4l60E in my truck. I have one that I could stick in there. All the tranny shops want like 800 bucks to pull, rebuild and put back in.

TIA

Dane

I have a 2002 silverado z71 4x4 for cheaper than that, plus shipping, and 6 month warranty from green leaf. VIN number to back up low miles. I believe they said under 1k.
