Looks like it wants to stall around 3900. This was supposed to be as tight as they could build it as well. Sent this screenshot to PI.

PI says "3900 RPM is perfect for the race track."

How is it under normal driving? Who did you talk to at PI?

I emailed Mike. He said it would likely stall around 2800 on the foot brake before overpowering the brakes. Said they could remove the "turbo stator" and replace with a regular which would probably get it down 300 RPM.

I mean with twin 1900's and a 429 at 17PSI a 3800 stall speed seems reasonable for any converter that would be tight as all hell for nearly anyone else on this forum... myself included. I would imagine that drives nearly like stock at part throttle as far as how tight it feels.

Hell I was seeing 4200+ flash speeds from a yank PT2800MD

On the street it is definitely easier to blow the tires off at any rolling speed. Wasn't so touchy with the other converter, but that one is a little larger at 12". Seems like launching at 3900 off the t-brake is going to be hard on parts if the tires stick.
