Default backspace question

i gonna order a set on intro wheels soon, 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10 in the rear. i gonna put 275's on the front and 305's on the rear, i was doing some measuring and it looks like a 7" backspace will work in the rear with a 12" wide tire. i want the tire to set about 1/2" in from the outside of the bed. just wondering if anyone else had this backspace and if it work well. pics would be great if anyone has any. these wheels are too expensive to mess up... thanks guys

oh ya i'll be doing a 3/4 drop anyone see any problems? looks like it will work.

Im almost positive a 7'' back space will work but I dont think with that back space with a 10'' rim is gonna be 1/2'' in I would think its gonna be 1'' out at least with that big of tire. maybe some one with real experience will chime in.

I am running 20x8s with a 5" backspacing which would be equivilant to your 20x10 with 7" backspacing. I only have the slightest bit of rub on my bedside lip. The lip is about .5" wide and the tires just kiss it on big bumps. If you are running a fleetside you could roll the lip and not have to worry about it, or you could do a .25-.5" more backspacing. How tall of a tire are you planning on running?

Here is the closest down the side shot I have of mine

thanks for the pics, your truck looks great!! i'm thinking 7in is going to be perfect. i'm not sure on the height on the tire yet maybe a 305/45/20 or a 305/40/20, probaly keep the height about the same as the stock wheel and tire. if you have any sugestions let me here them.. thanks again.
