The part number I have is from the AAM catalog for the axle itself, which lists the GM part # as:
AXLE SHAFT - RIGHT HAND (499 mm; 28 TOOTH; 6 BOLT) AWD – 12471491
The part number for the axle tube is 12471490.

Below in the breakdowns, you can see the differences in the components.

I sell these for $325 + $80 core for your stock input gear. I have several on the shelf ready to ship. I can also sell a complete Transfer Case with this installed, or you can send yours in and I can perform the install for you
You will also need to order a Trans to T-Case adapter from EAD ($65). Ask for Justin.

ok, time to bring this thread back to life, i was watching some vids..looks like the 4x4 trucks (HIGH HP) have a hard time launching, looks like they bounce around lol. do the AWD trucks do this also? I havent debated one something so much before. Heres a lil list i made of each

4WD
pros: can still do a burnout

cons: cant turn while 4high is engaged
have to run same exact sized tires

AWD
pros: traction all the time
can run staggered tires as long as the hieght is very close (correct me if im wrong)
sweet AWD dounuts

cons: no way to dyno
no more sweet burnouts lol

You'll have to run the same height tires with either 4x4 or AWD or some binding may occur...kinda like running different gear sizes front and rear (extreme example but you get the idea)

Just to clarify things, you dont have to use the passenger side axle tube or axle. just simply put your truck in 4wd then unplug the actuator and it stays locked in. ive been running my truck like this for almost two years and making decent power.

So no more burnouts? Big deal. Guess everyone wont be able to see how awesome your truck is when you cant do burnouts anymore. Id rather have 24/7 traction then be able to do burnouts like a jagoff.

Ill post up some pics and info of the swap as soon as I can. Added 16 feet onto the front of our garage so i still have to clean out the construction materials before I can get my truck in.
