Default Autoride question

My tahoe has autoride, and my friends tahoe does not.. there are alot of things diffrent that i cannot find info about anywhere, i was wondering if you guys knew what they were..

In the front there large Lines going into the top of my shocks. they are not air shocks tho.

there are also, load sensing valves or proportioning valves on all four corners. i figured the rear ones are because the rear shocks are AIR, so it needs them, but i cannot figure out what the front are for....

my stearing also seems to be easier when not moving, and stiffer when moving than his tahoe....

Anyone know anything?
