T56 guys, I need your help with wiring. I pulled out the auto trans black box and connected the yellow wire to the purple/white wire. This will let it start and when running the gear indicator shows 2nd gear. Is this okay? I did absolutely no other wiring. The purple/white is for the starter relay coil supply voltage, and yellow is for neutral safety switch park/neutral signal.

I can hook the yellow and purple/white wires to the clutch switch pretty easily.
