I'm familiar with guys running Hayden coolers in the past, they've been around a while IIRC. I still like the looks of the trucool 40K so I'm sold on that one, although a 30K would suffice, especially since the price is right.

That's a stacked plate design...looks like a decent cooler, and it will be durable, I'm sure that it would work for your needs

Hey, I have a good way of making your decisions harder huh lol

BTW, the TruCool 40k is a stacked plate design. Just to not confuse anybody.

Copied from a listing from Oregon Performance Transmission.

You’re looking at a NEW Long Tru-Cool Max transmission cooler P/N LPD47391. This cooler is rated at 40,000 GVW and measures 8.5"x22.75"x1.25". This is a stacked plate, low pressure drop unit. This cooler has 3/8" inverted flare fittings. For cold weather applications, use the LPD4739 with the thermal bypass. This is the ultimate cooler for heavy towing and is a must for heavy duty applications, including racing. Heat is what kills an automatic transmission. If you want to extend the life of your transmission and avoid or prolong a costly rebuild, this is very cheap insurance. All parts and instructions are included to mount and plumb this cooler. Retail price is $200+. This cooler comes with a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty. Don't forget to look at my other items for more great deals. I combine all items for shipping and pass the savings on to you. Ask for a shipping quote if buying more then one thing.

Crap, I mis-informed folks again, that's twice in one week...gonna go back and edit my posts Don't know how I got the tube and fin design in my head. I just searched for some pics of it and it is in fact a stacked plate cooler. That being the case, the Hayden is the same design and is about half price for 1/4 less cooling...sounds like a good deal.

I gotta get my head together lately, thanks for clearing that up AZ

Oh yea, and since so many guys are running the trucool with such great success, I'm going to switch from my favorite tube and fin (which I'm currently running...PermaCool 17k) to a stacked plate trucool.
