Default anyone running 3.42's with a 3K stall or higher

If so how does it act? i am thinking of going back to 3.73's from the 4.10's but haven't rulled out the 3.42's yet. just wondering if i do that will i lose the good grunt down low even with the 3200 stall i have.

It will still **** and get with the 3:42's, just depends on what you are looking for, top end power as well as low end grunt with that stall.

i like the 4.10's but they aren't very friendly at the starting box or at the other end. too much low end and not enough top end for my setup. i have some 42's on the shelf that i can throw back in and save money. otherwise i am going to be hunting another set of 3.73's. i will more than likely be installing a different cam and possibly some heads soon as well that will help make more power further down the track so who knows what i am going to do.

Go with 3.42s if I were you, you already have them you can spray the **** out of it out of the hole and then the 42s will help you down the track where you will be making good power.

thats kinda what i was thinking. it would allow me to spray the **** out of leaving the line but still keep me in second gear when crossing the traps. right now, i leave hard and it's shifting inside the sixty foot or so it seems. kinda like a useless first gear.
