two links are bad news imo. four link allows the rear end to move up and down in a straight line thus helping prevent hop and wrap and increasing traction. two links make the rear end travel on an ark. thus if the suspension is compressed the rear end moves towards the rear in order to follow the arking pattern. this means no traction when you punch it. i know three trucks done with two links. one fella thinks his stock 5.3 is so fast because he just can't seem to hook up off the line. eheh. its a money thing for these shops. don't do it.

i drove a 92 scsb for two years with a complete ART system and never had a problem. i put the 4-link in and what a difference it made for the wheel hopping that chevys are good for. but the only thing i wish i would of put in was a 4-way system to have control of all 4 wheels. see i went with the 2-way system, front and back control, and i noticed the truck would lean in fast cornering where if i used the 4-way it wouldnt.when using a 2-way, air will bleed from one side to the other in corning and the 4-way system cant because each line is seperated and 2 way's are joined together in pairs. but other than that it was a great truck to drive plus you could raise it to get in certain places where lowered trucks dragged and then slam it to the ground... hope this helps

plus..just like "out2win" said you get what you pay for!! there are ALOT of cheap air ride systems out there. ive heard of horror stories from people who have went the cheap route and got stranded somewhere!! i used ART because of there reputation and customer service. ive seen $100k street rods on ART, but never on a home-made kit. im not saying your buddy is using cheap stuff by any means, just double check what stlye of valves and fittings they are using.would hate to hear another story of someone stuck because their valves are stuck closed or the plastic fittings broke under the pressure.

Well not that my friend would do a bad job but i have now decided to hold off on the bags for now. Im going to price around at some reputable shops and wait till i have the money to get a bad *** shop to do it with all the best parts. If my truck was paid off, i would be a little more careless but i want to make sure im not going to be making payments on something thats broken. I will probably go with a static drop until i save up the rest of the money. Thanks for all the help guys!!! Taylor

i live with 3 guys who drive bagged trucks.
4 links are stronger.
Copper lines are better.
nitrogen is better than air.
if you use air...get a water trap.
dont be cheap with your compressor...or it will get fried
