Default Anybody running a TT3200HD converter for an 80e?

Long story short I have to drop the trans to fix the front pump seal and I figure I might as well throw a higher stall speed converter in there to help out with my low end problem. In 4hi my truck kind of lugs till about 3200ish then takes off not that its really slow Im just used to my old setup with a 60e and 4K stall so my current setup seems a bit slow. The problems never end

I'm running a vig 3000 and it seems to be ok. Only thing that sucks is peeling out so much on the street.

When are you coming down to SAR? Im looking to purchase one here in the next couple of months but Im worried how it will drive with the already crappy first gear of the 80e. If you dont mind Ill swap you keys when you come down I just want to see how it drives during normal driving, I know how it will run down the track. How are liking the 80e? I love how it shifts and runs after you getting rolling the 2-3 shift is nice.

I like the 80e more than the 60e. Once it's WOT it doesn't go lower than 5K rpm after shifts. Regular driving is the same or better than with the 60e and I think this tranny made it faster all around. My 60 ft's are the same and I ran a slightly better 1/8 mile et exept 3mph higher. I want go next month to get a good retune from allen and finally run 11's. I'm waiting on 00z71 to finish his turbo so we can both run down there.

Im in the mist of doing a 4l80 swap with hopes that it doesnt slow the truck too much but its begining to sound like I chance of it being quicker that would be great.
