I'm thinking of this myself. We have some pretty bad roads around here.

It does not seem as structually sound especially with all the material you have to cut. I did mine a few years ago and it is still holding up great. I do have friends with bag setups and I have seen their c notches that are welded and once I get the money I'll be going that away.

Also I have a 2/4 drop.
