Default Anybody ever trim this after doing a flip kit?

I just got done my 4/6 drop on my 03 rcsb. WOOHOO. I was just wondering if anyone has ever trimmed the front and rear of this bracket (i guess its just the bump stop bracket on the rear axle) in order to gain a little bit more travel and to have it fit in the c-notch a little better. I only drove it to my mechanics for an alignment so idk if i'll have an issue with bottoming out or not. I was just wondering if anyone has done it before. Its a McGaughy's flip kit and i have belltech SP shocks on it. Thanks

You shouldn't have to if its aligned properly, but yes, you can cut it. Its no longer needed with a flip kit

hmm if its aligned properly...lol. ok, i was just figuring it would buy me another inch or so (maybe) of travel if i need it. Anyone know how long it typically takes for new coil springs to settle?

Sounds like your notch isn't centered over the axle. But cutting that off wouldn't hurt anything.
