Default Any tricks to get a NV3500 to shift better?

Before anyone says anything, yes a T56 will be replacing it. But for now I'm just wondering if there's a fluid they like better, larger hydraulic line etc. To help get it into gear easier above 4000. Thanks

No ones got any ideas? Alright I'll just blow it to 57 pieces and throw a T56 in.

Some say the truck line could benefit from the Drill Mod like the f-body guys do. Honestly, I didn't give my old nv3500 that much of my time before I just went with the t56.

This seems to be a common complaint from many stick guys. Talked to a dodge guy that said the same thing the other day. If your issue is clutch related then I could see a restriction in the line being an issue. HTH Vince

Get rid of it! lol

My pressure plate springs are kind of fWONked, so it gives me a lot of trouble going into gears... Won't shift into gear above 3500 RPM.

Flog it until it dies

Any updates on this? I had the same problems...especially after it got hot out. I just bled my lines yesterday and it shifts waaay better now. There was a bit of air and milky(bubbles?) fluid that was cleared out. I had to weld a 8mm socket to a wrench to make a tool to bleed it though. I also trimmed a tad of the rubber floor under the pedal so it would travel farther.
