I have been searching the forms for some good trannys cause mine is going to !!!! I was wondering if any of you guys have any feed back on rock-on tranny's level 4 or 4l60-e.com's level 3 tranny. Any info would be great cause my tranny is on its last leg and is my daily driver. Put it this way I don't want to have to buy a tranny again. Also if you guys know of any other good trannys that would be awsome thanks!!!

well i just ordered the rock-on tranny here goes nothing!!!!

 

i have the 4l60e.com kit in my tranny. not built by them but the same parts they use. so far so good. i don't have O/D but that might be a builder issue. not sure yet.

 

I am thinking about getting the Level 5 from Rock-On he said it can take alot more abuse and it alot better for nitrous or boosted vehicles. But he said his level 4 would be plenty for my truck. I think I'm going to end up going with level 5 it only 200.oo more. Tell me how you enjoy it when you get it in, cause I'm on the hunt for a tuff tranny and everybody keeps sayin Dave at Rock-On is the mannn....

 

Ive heard nothing but good about Rock on Tranys. You should be happy with it. What stall are you going with?

 

His customer service sucks. I called him 3 times to get some info on his 80e he doesnt even know what all he puts in it not a way to run your business and supposedly know all about transmissions but you cant even tell what you got in them. 4th time I called him he took my email address so he could email me a sheet with all the stuff on teh 80e and never did. I would ahve bought one too from him but screw that if he cant even tell me whats in his trans and send me a spec sheet how is his service going to be when I ahve a problem with his trans. Get and FLP, FLT or JAG are all good builders.
