Any ideas why my Converter won't seat

JW... If not, are you 100% it came out of a 4l60e not an 80e? Just sounds a little weird. Maybe your tranny guy pulled a switch on you? I dunno...

PM nonnieselman he had this happen with a ptc verter he bought. It would not seat but I forget why.

Ok I appreciate the help, but guys I know what I have, I know the the transmission is the 2000 out of silverbrick's truck. I know that my converter is a yank ss3200.

The converter is a yank ss3200. I sold that fuddle to Kyle on here a while back.

The converter WILL seat on my stock tranny and it spins fine.

I'm 99% sure there is an issue with my tranny but I don't know what it could be. That's why I was asking if anybody ever had problems like this.

I guess I'm just gonna have to take it back to my builder and tell him to fix it. I'm thinking it could possibly be a cracked pump or something like that.
