check with our sponsors on the right. Finish Line Transmissions and PerformaBuilt can both build a hell of an trans. Both have done so for numereous members both here and on LS1Tech with no complaints.
The only complaints I've heard is not doing it soooner.

I personally went with FLT and I couldn't be happier.

I went to SMI in Sac and had nothing but trouble. I would do a 4L80E swap and not deal with building a 4L60E. Especially you if you have plan on spraying the 408. A junkyard 4L80 with a shift kit is good up to 500-600rwhp no problem.

The flipside to your wait was piece of mind. Speakin of, what is current turnaround on a 60e Level 5?

^ Not really local, but I like this option.

Danny, I would have to agree with the advice given above. Give FLT a call on Monday, the wait is well worth it. A 4L80e would be prudent but if you are set on a 4L60e series then you will need the biggest baddest **** available. My level 5 has been holding up well for over 20K miles and taking what I can throw at it.
