I'm running 285/50 20 tires right now with about a 2.5 in. drop in the rear. I still have too much of a fenderwell gap and was thinking about dropping it an inch front and rear. After looking at it though, I think I might be able to run a 2/4 drop. My question is does anybody run this combo or know if a 2/4 will work with my tires or will it rub?

Thanks man. I've seen a few trucks with a 2/4 and 22's with close to the same size tire as I got but just wanted to make sure. I probably won't drop it for a little while but wanted to make sure everything was good when I get around to it.

I have a 2/3 drop and the rear is fine and the front drivers side rubs just enough to hear in a sharp turn. It has now rubbed a hole through the plastic so it doesn't matter But I'm sittin on 24's When I had 22's there was no problem at all.

What size tires were you running with 22's?

Thanks

I cannot remember off the top of my head but they were a really low profile. They actually didn't look that good because on a Tahoe you have to fill the wheel well or it doesn't look right. I think they were 285/35/22 or something like that. You can go alot taller than that and still not rub. I think you could go 305/45/22 pretty easy.
