Default Another converter question!

I have a RCSB 99 5.3 4l60E. It has all boltons and 4.10s in the back. LT's with true duals. The tranny went out and is currently being rebuilt. The torque converter was what was to blame. I want to put a Yank converter in there. I was looking at the TT3000, don't do a lot of racing, just the occasional mashing. Don't have a whole lot of cash, so every hundred dollars counts.

Also, do I need a new tune with it? I have a nelson tune on it now.

SST3200 could also be a possibility

The TT3000 is nice! The 3200 will probably be a little better in a lighter truck like yours though. Check and see what you can find used also, between here and Tech these converters come up for sale regularly.

You will need some tuning adjustments made for it to operate properly.

I think I'll go with the SST3200 when my "extra" money blooms in a few months. Got some credit card bills to pay off, so whatever's left will go toward the Yank fund.
