Mine is done the same way smokeshow did his. And I also bypassed the radiator. It's just to help with heating the trans fluid on cold starts.

Smokeshow and AndysC3, what temps do your transmissions run at with the cooler mounted low?

Crushing around town I see 130-140 with 75-80* outside temps. This is with an 80e and a 3200 stall. It got to about 175 after several back to back wot pulls

What about doing one WOT pull? My temps will jump up at least 10 degrees after a little WOT hit. Trans doesn't feel like it's slipping. I'm running a Trans-Go HD2 in a stock 60k mile trans.

Driving normally my trans temps were only about 30° above ambient. After a single pull they might be 60-70° above. I've always watched temps, and without a fan on the cooler, I can do 3 back to back full boost runs without letting it cool down. After that I have to drive around for maybe 10 minutes to let it cool off. All that info is assuming between 800-850 at the wheels. My estimate for pulling on a 680whp cobra, anyway

+1 Mine bypasses the radiator also with no problems. Live in Alaska and maybe miles driving in below freezing temps. Just let it warm up a little and don't go romping on it till it's warmed up and gone through the gears some.

Normal driving I see around 100, little cooler on really cold days. Summer it's 110-115
