is there an advantage to cross drilled, slotted, or cross drilled and slotted? i have seen some drilled ones that crack but that has been a while, also i know that venting helps to keep cool and that keeps warping at bay, but at a certain point isn't removing friction/surface area a bad thing...

yes. . . the slots keep the pads clean and remove aany dirt/dust. .. holes are more for releasing gases created by friction so they could vent out. . .

is there a problem with using these for towing though? i pull a 25 ft toy hauler and my front rotors are warped (not real bad, its barely noticeable) would the drilled rotors be able to stand up to that kind of heat? or is it a kind of a bad idea?

i bought the drilled and slotted rotors from r1concept on ebay. front and rear for the crewcab and it was a night and day difference in stopping. front and rear pads and rotors with ceramic pads were $390 shipped.

awesome! do you ever use your truck to tow? my toy hauler is about 7k with water and my quad, i just dont want them to be able to handle the extra weight that they will have to stop, i worry about that kind of crap. not so much about having to buy another set of rotors but if something else goes wrong.
