Default advice on trans go hd-2 kit

Hey my first time posting on here, but have read a lot of posts from here. well anyway I have 06 Silverado that I have been putting the 4L60E-HD2-C kit in.everything is going well but have a couple of questions. I got a black bear tune on my truck with the shift point set very firm and the torque management about 90 percent removed. When placing spacers in the 2nd accumulator housing how many spacers should I use? I thought about just putting one in with the shift points in the custom tune being set up and also install a vette servo. I don't want to do damage but make my tran last long.

Well I would certainly get it re-tuned. If your shift points are firm before the shift kit then that tells me that the line pressure tables have been tweaked. I would recommend using one washer in the 1-2 housing and using the red spring in the 1-2 accumulator sleeve. Make sure to drill the 2nd hole to the smaller side. If after the install the shift is to hard I would recommend re-installing the factory 1-2 accumulator springs. HTH Vince
