Default A4 to M6 Swap

Ok here's the deal. I want a 6 speed in my truck so bad I can taste it. My question is, is it worth the trouble and money to have it converted, once it's installed does it work as if it was done that way from the factory, and will it last long enough and work well enough to enjoy thousand and thousands of miles of road use and nights at the track? Any help and advice would be appreciated. My truck has almost 41,000 on it now, so I know the ole 4L60 has to be getting tired. I've had the cam etc in it since it had 12,000 miles on it.

Yes it is worth it and drives like stock. You must change rear gear to accomidate most likely. See the T56 swap thread in this section.
