ok i searched on here and found nothing i have a 2000 silverado ecsb z71 lowered and im thinking my 4l60 is on its way out i was wanting to do a manual swap i read through the sticky thread at the top and its great except for the part about it being for a 2wd truck mine is 4wd and wondering what trans i will need to get and if i can even use a 6 speed?....eventually i would like to do a mild cam and heads but thats a long time away as for now the truck has a full exhaust intake and i will be tuning with hptuners...any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance cory

 

Use a NV4500. Those were used behind the 6.0l in the HD's. Be pretty easy swap. As for a 6sp the ZF is about the only one for a 4x4.
