84 chevy wanting to swap rear

id like to know if someone has a writeup or a good source of whats expected to put a ford 9" in a 84 chevy truck. and if there is a certain year that is better to go with?? thanks guys

Y not a 12 bolt. Any pix of truck. I got 84 long bed. An gonna try find a direct 12 bolt to swap the ten out
