Default 80e trans prob fixed!!

initial prob.
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=378314

pulled the pan and valve body and found this

edit: in feb. i installed the transgo hd2 shift kit and the plugs that come with this kit are what i'm referring to as coming out.

per the threads above i've had some trans problems recently. Turned out that two of the plugs had come out of the sep. plate in the trans and was effecting shift patterns. Vince @ FLT contacted me and we discussed a solution. He got a new plate for me and installed the plugs in the plate for me and i have to say, The plate and plug installed looked 1st Class!! Very good work. Also used a set of Torlon *****. Had the plate and gaskets overnighted and installed in a short time and she is running great so far.

Just going to let everyone what the conclusion was to my trans problems. Have to commend Vince and Chuck at FLT again for their prompt and very hasty work in getting the plate ready and shipped in one day. Top notch guys!!

Thanks for the help guys,
Jones

Glad to be of service. I just did 3 of those kits the week before. After reading your post I knew you needed a brother to hook you up! Glad it worked out and also that you liked the way we do it. As you can see we are not rookie's. Thanks for the feedback,Vince.
