Default 80e swap, circle d 3200 stall and 2 pc drveshaft swap

I just finished my 3200 stalled Jakes 80e swap. I also added a stock 2 pc driveshaft on my 05 crew cab. I've never driven a stalled vehicle before and it takes some getting used to. I'm really liking the 80e way better than the 60e, however, the jakes stage 3 1-2 upshift is way too harsh for daily driving even with the stall. Gonna get it worked out in the tune.

One thing though, I have these bad vibrations on low speed (30 mph) decel. I though it was my 2 pc shaft and u joints out of whack, but because of the stall I think what I'm feeling is my cam (220/220 112) making my truck shake. Lol! Anyone else experience this on a cammed and stalled truck?

All in all I'm very pleased with this 80e swap

You sure its not your brakes or converter chatter?

I know they are not my brakes because I never touched them during the install. Not sure about the converter though. How can I tell its the converter and what would cause that?

If you have hptuners, scan for the converter lockup PID and see if it says on or engaged when you hear it.

Thanks Atomic, I'll try it out this week. Been so busy with work, I wish I more time to work on and drive my truck.

No it's not your cam causing the vibration.

You modified your driveline.

Yes, see what the TCC is doing - that will tell us a lot. What are the RPMs when the shudder occurs?

Did you balance the driveshafts? and or look at the flexplate to make sure there are no cracks? This will go a long way in keeping the vibrations down.

Ok guys, here's an update. I did some hp tuners logging, but I honestly don't know what I'm looking for as far as trans stuff. Flex plate is a new Circle D/Reactor flex plate, so I'm pretty sure I can rule that out. I bought a digital angle finder and what I found was my trans and the reared are 8* off. I can space up my trans and then it becomes 4* off and the shudder is not as bad and bearable.

What would you guys do, get a 8* shim for the reared or leave the trans spaced up and a 4* shim for rearend? Both ways I'd still need to adjust carrier bearing higher.
