Ben got the 258MM Billet single disk. It will be setup with a 4L60 LS1 bolt pattern so he can use his stock flex-plate. I am shooting for a footbrake of 3500. Turbo motors are the hardest to calculate the stall on because of the way they bring on the power. Ben wants a converter a little higher stall so he can get a good shift extension. I think he will be pleased with the 258MM design. And you are correct on the math, the turbine measure right at 10.125" I will be updating my website soon to show this new option. I offered Ben a military discount and a moderator discount. He will be happy, I guarantee it!

I really appreciate the help and hashing that thing out on the phone with me today. I know a converter can make or break a "well thought out" setup. Like I said on the phone, that's what has made me "picky" if you will, about how I like my converters.

I'm looking forward to coming down to the shop later this week and seeing your facility. I'm sure a product like yours has to come from a top-notch shop.

-oh yeah, check your paypal too

If I had a spare 800-1000 dollars to buy a converter, I'd by a couple stockers and call it a day.

I have one for sale

Converter cost was figured into the 80E swap so it wasn't a huge deal.

The shear size of the stocker is worth getting away from IMO. Really hurt my little 4.8. But I now have a 3K verter, in the garage lol.

The shear size of the stocker is worth KEEPING IMO. Really helps have a large lock-up clutch
