Thay came out of a 01 or a 02 and thay said that thay would go in my truck and i have a 04 ecsb so i guess thay r 8.6 then would some pics help out any

 

they should work, i think you would only run into probs if it was a 00 or older...

You can install either type of ring and pinion in an 8.6 rearend. What the main difference is the carrier bearings. If you have an 8.6 rearend out of a 99-up truck, then make sure you get an 8.6 install kit. It may still be called an 8.5 install kit, but the years listed next to it will be more current (i.e. 99-up).

 

Cool its out of a 99 and up so that makes it a 8.6 then
