Default 60e to 80e?

i know when you switch from a 60e to an 80e you have to do some rewiring or buy an adapter and the crossmember has to be moved back, but do you have retune the pcm to make it work?

Yes, the PCM has to have the trans segment changed out to the 80e tune.
