It's much easier to just ditch the harness on the motor and go with one from a supplier on the s10 forums who custom builds plug and play conversion harnesses.

Truck accessories can be made to work in an S10 Blazer but F-body accessories will not work without significant modification
That's awful PURTY! +1 on the custom harness. I've done my own wiring, but have thought about rewiring for a cleaner (less obvious) setup.
