Default 5.3 na flt lvl 7 or 80e?

Would a na 5.3 warrant a 80e or could you get away with a flt lvl 7? Its a single cab with 35's and soon to be 4.88's.

At this point, I have the personal opinion that I wont run the 60e in anything except a lightweight <500whp car.

Id do an 80e personally.

Yep. I just replaced the 60 in my Avalanche as it was starting to slip under full throttle above 4,000 RPM and that was just with headers and a tune at 125k. Do the 80 and forget about it.

I’ll echo the others and put in another vote for the 80 FTW

I guess if I go 80e I always have the option to go forced induction. I was just a little worried on how first gear is gonna be even with 4.88's. 5.13's are an option Ive got a 14 bolt and im in the middle of swapping the baby 8.25 out for a 2013 9.25. So far its doable, def has helped having it lifted. So if I go with the 80e can I keep my rotary dial for 4wd?

I'd stay with the 60.
