Well it seems that I'm hitting every rare bump in the road with this truck.haha first destroyed thrust bearing, now this.

Good to know I'm not the only one. I want to say that's actually what happened to me also but then again I'm really not sure. Both straps are still tight on the rear, one ujoint cup is still in there and one is missing in action. Dropped the shaft out thankfully right as I stopped and not at 80-90 when it happened. Was your driveshaft bent?

Ha, same thing as mine. It was still in there but one of the caps failed. It scared up the shaft but still worked fine. I had the 68" shaft on my 04 ext cab.

I'm sure its probably the same length. just worried about the aluminum shaft being tweaked. Ill probably get it all back together here shortly and find out. I guess its better then coming apart on my tuners dyno! Haha
