Default 4x4 broken trans mount tube? how the hell..

Just got my new build back together, driving back and forth to work I hit it on thr freeway to pass a car, got to about 80 and had probably one of the scarier experiences of my life, truck shook extremely violently, smoke everywhere ohh it was awsome.. pulled over and crawled underneath right away and the truck was pissing fluid out of a pretty noriceable crack. After pulling it apart yeasterday the trans mount tube was broken in about 5 pieces. Everything was torqued when put back together. Ujoints were tight and all mounts seemed fine. I'm confused as to what could have happened.

Trans mount tube? 2wd or 4wd? Are you talking about the extension housing?

I wish I knew how to post pics off my phone on here. Yes it is a 4wd and the extension housing would be the name of the part.
