Anybody on the 80e being unplugged? Does it default to just one forward gear and reverse?

 

Ok found out it defaults to second when unplugged so going to have the tune checked

 

Ok rechecked my repin of the harness and I have the brown wire in the s position and stuck the white wire in the u position. Talked to my tuner and he said he used a 04 2500 os so that should be good. Is there anything else it could be? Is there a way it could default back to the original os cause upon first start up i put it in drive and it jerked forward like it should then after idling awhile to top off the fluids it went into reduced power mode and has tried takin off in 3rd gear ever since. Any help would be greatly appreciated cause I'm really ready to drive this thing bad!!
