the tail shaft on my 700r4 cracked in two when i was making a pass but the drive shaft never came off or any thing....

I picked up a used 700r4 to take what I need off it and put mine back together worked out well and was much cheaper then buying the replacement parts ($75 of Craigslist)

well got it all together and its driving and shifting but its not the same?

1st gear at WOT would shift at 6200 rpm and I would shift 2nd and 3rd around 6000 rpm's, normal driving it would shift great too and you would feel firms shifts, now 1st shifts a like 5 to 7 mph under light throttle and its hard to tell when the others shifts, shift wtf?....... now at WOT 1st is shifting at 5000 rpm's and 2nd will not shift unless I lift off the go peddle

I have the TV cable set so when the throttle is wide open the cable is at its max can not be pulled any further, I used the govoner out of the other trans but it was moving freely?
