Default 4l80e swap

I have the 4l60e in my 08 nnbs but im fed up of it so in which older model that the truck has 4l80e because im thinking of geting 1 from a scrap and install it on my truck so what else do i need to swap my tranny?

i dont know much about this topic, but i believe you will need to get the a flex plate that accepts and 80E, as well as get an 80E crossmember. thats all i know, someone else will hafta chime in.

just did a little lookin for ya, Speed Engineering Has 4L80E conversion kits.

Now the NNBS are prob alot different but this is what it took for me to swap a 80E in my 2000.

if you have a nbs gen 4 with a tcm id go with a 6l80 over a 4l80.

isnt the 6l80e the AWD or its a rear wheel drive same as the 4l80e?
