Default 4L80E replacement options?

I was told from one shop that the 4L60E Automatic Trans on my 03 silverado went. I am having it get looked at another shop today to run another diagnosis on it.

Problem: Not being able to get out of 2nd gear, travels no faster than 30mph, high RPMs but minimal power and speed.

236,000 miles on trans and engine

What are my best options if the trans did go, considering the number of miles on the engine?

Thanks - Anthony -

I am not knowledgable enough to do it myself. Idk if I could afford an upgraded engine along w/ the different trans.

Rebuilt tranny is definately an option.

Yeah I was thinking of maybe salvaging one from a junk yard for cheap. Is that what you were able to do?

I was just informed that my 4L60E Tranny did go

Is $1,300 for the shop to rebuild it a fair price?

Alrighty thanks. The shop is ran by a friend of the family, and I am not sure about any warranty right now.
