It doesn't have the hydramatic tag on the back right side?

definitely put a tail shaft seal in it if you're pulling that bolt on yoke. And if you're gonna do a full rebuild replace the tail shaft bushing.. mine went out, still unclear on the yoke taking it out or it taking the yoke out. Might as well do it anyway right?

there is a metal tag on the newer trannys not sure about the older ones. The metal tag will show the year. THe only reason I was bringing that up is your kit you are looking at is for a 91-96 which means something is different for the 98.

Its got the Hydramatic tag... just cant read it since its covered in gunk I need to get a couple cans of brake cleaner after this thing.
