Intermediate clutch piston done with new seals and bushing.

Old bushing had a groove worn into it.



Pressing in the new bushing. I was slightly off center though the oil hole wasn't covered at all. I suppose this is OK?

Makin me want to say f this 4l60e.... Just found place that will sell me a rebuilt 4l80e for $800....even if its stock rebuild should hold up better than any 4l60e.... Decisions, decisions, decisions!!!! Be easier if i didnt have just about all the parts and didnt want to build one myself, only parts of the truck i havent rebuilt mysef yet!!!

Lookin at prices of used 4l80e i may as well get that rebuilt one when i do decide to pull the trigger

Wondering if i could find a manual shift tcase from a 1500hd or 2500 with a 4l80 and the driveshafts would fit?? And not have to worry about swapping i out on my tcase. Also wondering how hard it would be to get trans crossmember from truck with 4l80 and make it work, time for research!!!

Dual feed internal mods done.

Putting cup plug in case hole.


Hit in with some red lock tite. Also removed oil with brake cleaner beforehand.


Intermediate with appropriate missing bushing.
