Ive seen where people used the diff yoke and it worked perfectly w/o cutting on the d/s.

I've done 3 of these swaps myself, just get a combination u-joint and an 80e yoke, as for my d shaft, it is still stock now, but needs an upgrade dearly

I could be totally off and feel free to let me know, but i was under the impression that the aluminum one was the failure prone one, or is the steel one bad as well?? Granted i realize any one of them could fail just as a built one could....

oh and what 80e yoke are you guys using, just an oem 2500hd truck joint or similar...

I'm still running the stock steel drive shaft with a Strange 1350 short yoke and a bastard joint (precision 442 IIRC). I know I am on borrowed time with the stock shaft but it has been a trooper behind the current combo for a couple years now.
